8 Website Templates That Will Elevate Photographers' Marketing In 2023
Let's continue our year-end series talking all things websites! Complete with tips from web designers, we break down our favorite templates photographers can use to level-up their design game in 2023.
Your website is your storefront. Would clients walk through the door of yours?
Last year, we broke down eight of our favorite website templates for photographers, and tens of thousands of photographers visited it throughout the year to find a template that would elevate their brand! Scouring the internet for a template that will shine with professionalism and personality takes the kind of time busy business owners just don’t have. Especially when you’re a photographer who understands that aesthetics without substance can only take you so far, finding a website that looks good and facilitates an encounter is essential. That means aaaaall those websites with a pretty design and no practicality or space for text aren’t gonna cut it!
That’s where we come in! That’s why we are back once again to share eight more web design templates that beautifully serve the needs of photographers!
But what qualities are we looking for on the hunt for great photography websites?
In case you didn’t make it last year, here are the three things we have our eye on when evaluating a design:
Unique design—after writing for hundreds of photographers, it’s such a treat to see one that doesn’t look like all the rest. It gives the feel of a custom design without the time and cost!
Just enough text space—too much text is overwhelming to clients but too little won’t allow you to share what makes your brand special. So, finding templates that give the right amount of text in the right places is key.
Essential features—I know you think you can customize any design to fit your needs, but that takes a lot of time…and often leads to websites that look more DIYed than they should after the money you spent. That’s why I want to find templates that allow you to do all the things photographers need to do: answer FAQs, lay out your process, introduce yourself, highlight your experience, nail a booking, and more.
So, let’s get to it—let’s break down the eight website templates we hope to see photographers using in 2023!
01. SAINT JEAN—Davey & Krista
Why I love it: Something that I love about most of Davey & Krista’s designs is the versatility, and that feature is on particular display in this design. All it takes is one look at the about page template to see it! From a team into to a TL;DR section, the design has at least eight distinct segments you can use to break down every unique part of the story behind your brand. Now, I would never recommend using every section—that would be super overwhelming. But the options allow you to customize the design without the extra work and know-how required to design it yourself!
